Animal World USA is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Delaware Week for the Animals will kick off Saturday, April 17, 2010 and run through Sunday, April 25, 2010. The week will underscore community spirit throughout Delaware as people come together on behalf of the amazing animals.
To further add to the excitement, the 40th anniversary of Earth Day falls within the week! Beginning on the kick-off day, Delaware Week for the Animals will be bringing together educators, animal shelters, humane organizations, sanctuaries, restaurants, businesses, students, musicians, artists, community leaders, decision makers, and caring citizens in an action-packed compassionate week of community activities for the animals. This extraordinary week will feature a multitude of awesome fun-filled pet adoption events, Earth Day activities, fun-filled festivals for the animals, free and low cost spay/neuter microchipping/vaccinations opportunities, pet food donations for needy families, student activities for shelter animals, library animal storytelling events, wildlife activities of all kinds, scores of bird watching events/tours, vegetarian get-togethers, a salute by elementary school students through art for the military, and so much more.
