The lifesaving work for the homeless dogs and cats in this community is in jeopardy. Please spread the word to animal-loving friends!
The recently formed political action committee, NvPAW, has been aggressively pushing Washoe County Commissioners to reject needed code updates for animal services and otherwise change policies to:
- Restrict rescue group access to save homeless pets at Animal Services
- Require that pets will be killed at the request of an owner, regardless of whether the animals are healthy or savable
- Hinder trap-neuter-return efforts for feral cats
NvPAW is vocal, organized and persistent and if Commissioners do not hear from you, this minority viewpoint may prevail!
