Jet was abandoned with his brothers in back of a local animal hospital, who were kind enough to neuter all three of them before sending them to Long Beach Animal Services to find a home. The three little guys were frightened of their new environment and were rescued by Friends of Long Beach Animals (Long Beach, California 90807). One has found a home; Jet is still looking, as is his brother. The name fits the little guy since he “jets” around like a bullet. Interested parties can email info@FriendsofLongBeachAnimals.org.
Jet’s tail was severely deformed causing him a medical problem. Thanks to a generous donor, Bixby Animal Clinic was able to remove his tail leaving a cute little stub that helps propel him into action. You can also stop by Bixby Animal Clinic to fill out an application. Jet and his brothers were on display there.
Two other cats from the shelter are now in the adoption cage who were the shelter “Stars” at the Performance of “CATS” the musical that has just finished its run at Musical Theatre West. FOLBA is calling them Bonnie and Clyde. Stop by Bixby to visit these two lovely shelter rescue cats, who are actually quite different from the original Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie is a medium hair Calico and Clyde is a black-and-white sweetie.
