The 10th Annual Pet Helpers Oyster Roast is coming up on March 26th! You are invited to dine on all-you-can-eat oysters, Lowcountry boil, chili (with a vegetarian option), and hot dogs. The event is dog friendly, and we encourage you to share in the festivities with your furry friends!
Much of the excitement of the event will surround the silent auction, strategically located in the middle of the Charleston Visitor Center Bus Shed. Last year, bidders waited in anticipation of the close of the auction and would jump to re-bid if anyone dared to one-up them! This year’s auction will be host to lots of fun, unique, and well-priced items, including a surf board from Ocean Surf Shop, Reiki sessions, beaded jewelery, and a Pet First Aid Kit. Remember, all of the proceeds go to benefit Pet Helpers (Charleston, South Carolina 29412), so happy bidding!
Blue Spartina, a local folk band, will serenade guests throughout most of the evening, and music towards the end of the evening will be provided courtesy of The Bridge at 105.5. Enjoy the cash bar, purchase Pet Helpers merchandise, and help to make this, one of the shelter’s most important fundraisers, a successful event. Encourage your friends to come!
