From Tree House Humane Society

Do you have a rescued pet who has changed your life for the better? Do you want to share your pet’s story with the world? Then we have a great opportunity for you!

June is Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month as well as peak kitten season. Tree House Humane Society (Chicago, Illinois 60640) is overwhelmed with admission calls, and an increase in adoptions at this time will allow us to rescue and admit more cats. Through our “Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat-Month Challenge”, we are asking you to share your pet’s story and raise $1,000 in the process. Your participation in this challenge will make a huge impact! By sharing the story of your rescued pet you can raise money, inspire others to adopt, and help Tree House save more cats. All the money raised will be used to help more animals by funding our adoption and low-cost spay/neuter programs.

How it works:

In honor of Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month, chosen supporters will receive the opportunity to feature their pet’s rescue story on the Tree House website. Participants’ friends and family, as well thousands of Tree House supporters, can donate to celebrate the stories of rescued pets. We hope that at least 30 supporters will sign up to participate and that each will raise at least $1,000, which will allow us to reach our $30,000 goal by the end of the year.

June is Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month! What better time to adopt a wonderful Tree House Humane Society (Chicago, Illinois 60640) resident?

Tree House has hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of adoptable cats and kittens, so you’re sure to find your perfect match. To celebrate this important month, Tree House is waiving the adoption fee for cats older than one year. So tell your friends and family members. In fact, go ahead and tell strangers on the street (no, they’re not looking at you like you’re crazy; that’s a look of gratitude for spreading the good news). Help Tree House find great homes for great cats!

From Berkeley East Bay Humane Society

June is Adopt-a-Cat Month. It also marks the peak of kitten season in our community. We are working hard to accommodate the huge influx of cats and kittens of all ages to local shelters that need to be cared for and matched with new homes. You can help. Please consider fostering or adopting a cat, or by showing your support with a gift to the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (Berkeley, California 94710).

We depend on our gracious supporters to assist us all year, and June is one of our most critical months. During the spring and summer, Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society receives hundreds of kittens ranging in age from only one day to months old – in addition to adult cats. All those lovable and playful babies mean that we must find ways to provide additional resources including foster homes, food, vaccines, and medical care just to keep up. That’s why we need you. Please consider adopting, or fostering if you can’t adopt. Or, you can make a gift to help us care for the cats and kittens who need our help. Please consider a gift today.
