Friends of Homeless Animals (Merrifield, Virginia 22116) is honored to launch The Gabriella Debeniotis Memorial Fund to honor the life of Gabriella Debeniotis (1998-2009), a 10-year-old from Vienna, Virginia who had a love for animals, even as a toddler.
Money raised through Gabby’s Fund will help FOHA pay medical ($300,000 annually) and shelter expenses (such as food) for the 500 dogs and cats it rescues yearly. In addition, 15% of the memorial funds raised will be set aside in a special fund to help Northern Virginia area residents pay for medical treatment they could not otherwise afford, including spay/neuter procedures and emergency veterinary care.
Gabriella is a gift of life donor. She donated her kidneys to two children who are now living a normal life because of Gabby’s incredible gift. You too can make a difference while honoring the life of this very special girl. To read more about Gabriella and the memorial fund that has been established, please click here.
