The Berkeley East Bay Humane Society (Berkeley, California 94710) has been making love connections between pets and people since 1927 by finding homes for over 40,000 animals. In May 2010, a large portion of the facility was destroyed by a devastating fire, but they are making plans to build a new facility.
Please come to Mutts, Moms & Music, a benefit to help rebuild the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society. Dine on delicious food at Cafe Leila, an East Bay favorite. Groove to the sounds of the Jack London Quartet and the Vaudevillian Stage Troupe.
$25 minimum for individual tickets (includes dinner). All net proceeds go to the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society. Money will also be raised through a silent auction and a no host wine and dessert bar.
